Andrea Carmichael, Inc. has been established in the design field for over 30 years. Andrea is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers, served as Chapter president for two years, is a registered designer in the state of Alabama and a registered home builder. Providence Finocchio Paulin has been practicing the art of interior design for 25 years and holds her major in the field from the University of Alabama. Richard Rowe trained at the American Woodworking Institute and has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years. He is construction manager for all remodeling and home building projects.

Andrea Carmichael, Inc. prides itself in having a vast resource library, which is continuously being updated as the designers travel to markets worldwide. Due to their resources, the firm has the ability to purchase direct from the manufacturer versus through their agents, which generates savings for the client. Andrea Carmichael, Incorporated takes pride in their expertise in selecting and sourcing the appropriate products for each client. The designers spend a great deal of time meeting with the clients to access their lifestyles so as best guide them in their utilization of their space.

Our Credentials Include:

ASID – American Society of Interior Designers. The organization that sets the standards for Interior designers. Only professional members may use this abbreviation after their name.

NCIDQ – National Council for Interior Design Qualification. Successful completion of the NCIDQ examination is a prerequisite for professional registration in the state of Alabama. The exam must be passed for partial qualification for ASID membership. This title identifies to the public that the interior designer has met the standards for professional practice.

Registered in the State – acknowledges that the NCIDQ examination has been passed successfully and that “Interior Designer” may be used in association with their name.

Licensed Residential Home Builder / Remodeler in the state of Alabama – Certification from the state of Alabama’s Home Builders Licensure Board that the standards have been met to practice home building and remodeling.
